I tried subbing in the locations of Oklahoma, or Kamakura, or Mississippi…or other four syllable towns, but then returned to the place where I actually stood on the bridge and saw this moon that started to speak to me. What can you do but write it down. This goes under the personal pep talk variety of tunes I write from time to time. My brain is forgetful, so I have to remind myself to stay on the gratitude train. May you all find joy and good food in this wild world. This tour was so fun. In regards to culinary times, it really was the best. Only Tuscany can compare in regards to good eats. And Mallorca. And Alaska. And…hanging out at my Sister Jane’s house on Sullivan’s Island with my family on the fourth of July. Or hanging out in the kitchen of my friends Sam and Jenna in Columbus, Ohio. They are great chefs. So is Katie Shaw. Oh my…I just remembered that I am about to eat a pasta dinner prepared by my sister-in-law Trisha Easton, who makes the best meatballs in the world. A good meal is about a lot more than the food, of course. It is about the company you are dining with. I cannot believe I have shared meals in Australia, Alaska, and Japan already this year.
